Soft boiled eggs are a weekend staple – at least in our home. It’s a tradition my husband Steffan brought with him, and for us, breakfast simply isn’t complete without a soft-boiled egg. Perhaps that’s also why we’ve kept chickens in our garden for many years.

These small, soft egg cosies are created with exactly that atmosphere in mind. They are inspired by my mother-in-law’s lovely egg cosies from her childhood home – a simple, everyday object filled with history and warmth.

The egg cosies keep your eggs warm a little longer while adding a touch of nostalgia and handcrafted charm to your table.

For the head, 2 small circles are worked in treble crochet, laid double and joined along part of the edge with single crochet stitches. The remaining edges are folded apart and treated as an opening around which the body is worked, mainly in triple puff stitch. Finally, the comb and beak are crocheted onto the ridge of the head. The entire piece is worked in the main colour except the comb and beak which are worked in contrast colour.

We stock products in both Denmark and Iceland. Orders to Icelandic addresses are shipped from Iceland, and all other orders are shipped from Denmark. If a product is not in stock at your nearest warehouse, please send us a request, and we will arrange to transfer it between our stock locations.

All goods that are not digital and downloadable will be dispatched with GLS or POST NORD within 1–3 business days. Liability and transport conditions of Post Nord or GLS apply for the dispatch of the goods. einrúm is therefore not liable for damage to the goods in transport. If a product is damaged after it leaves einrum.com and before it is delivered to the recipient, the damage is the responsibility of the carrier.

Price for domestic delivery up to 1 kg is 54 DKK. International delivery prices begin at 108 DKK. Shipping costs are calculated according to weight and location.

RETURNS AND REFUNDS
If you are unsatisfied with your purchase, you may return it to us for a refund or exchange within 14 days unless the product has been bought in the EINRÚM SALE. To qualify for a refund, the items must be returned in original condition with all tags and packaging intact. It is your responsibility to pay for the order to be returned and obtain a certificate of posting. A receipt for the purchase of the item to be returned must be enclosed. If a product is sealed the seal must be intact. The last date to return the goods is counted from the day the goods are handed over to the registered recipient. If the items are not what you ordered or they are faulty, please contact us at einrum@einrum.com to organise a return at our expense.

There is 24 months warranty on defective products (yarn that is not knitted of). We recommend that you return the defective product within 2 months from purchase.
